These Terms & Conditions apply to all services provided under the brand "Laundry Corner", operated by Support Corner Services (ABN 14 684 671 823). By placing a booking or using our services, you agree to the terms outlined below.
1. Services
Laundry Corner provides pickup and delivery laundry services for residential households, short-stay accommodations, and commercial or business clients. Services include washing, drying, folding, and ironing, as selected at the time of booking.
All services are subject to availability and the information provided by the customer.
2. Standard and Specialty Items
Standard clothes include everyday garments such as casual wear, T-shirts, pants, and similar items suitable for regular laundering or ironing.
Specialty items include items requiring additional handling or processing, including but not limited to:
- Business shirts, blouses, and dresses
- Bedding, sheets, and covers
- Bulky or oversized items
Specialty items are charged separately and priced per item, as outlined on the Pricing page.
3. Care Labels, Item Condition and Excluded Items
Customers must not include items labelled "Dry Clean Only" or items requiring specialist care unless prior agreement has been made.
Laundry Corner is not responsible for damage resulting from:
- Incorrect, missing, or unclear care labels
- Pre-existing damage, weakened fabric, or normal wear and tear (including thinning, small holes, loose seams, or tears)
Laundry Corner does not accept liability for changes to items caused by shrinkage, colour transfer, fabric degradation, or normal wear associated with standard laundering.
Laundry Corner will take reasonable care when handling all items.
Laundry Corner is not responsible for damage caused by items or personal belongings left in garments or pockets. Customers are responsible for ensuring all items are removed and for providing any special care instructions prior to collection.
4. Stains, Requests and Refusal of Service
While reasonable care is taken, Laundry Corner cannot guarantee the removal of all stains. Requests for stain-specific treatment must be indicated at the time of booking.
Customers must inform Laundry Corner in advance of any special handling requests or concerns relating to specific items.
Laundry Corner reserves the right to decline or refuse to clean any item that is excessively soiled, contaminated, or where treatment may cause damage, pose a health or safety risk, or fall outside the scope of our services.
5. Pricing, Service Fee and Payment
Pricing is displayed on the Pricing page and may be updated from time to time.
A Service Fee equal to 10% of the total service cost is applied to all invoices. This fee covers system administration, online booking services, order processing, and operational support required to deliver our services. The Service Fee is shown as a separate line item on the invoice.
Payment is processed online. Charges are applied after the service has been completed and prior to delivery of cleaned items.
6. Cancellations and Changes
Bookings may be cancelled or rescheduled up to 2 hours before the scheduled pickup time at no charge.
A $10 administration fee will be applied to cancellations made within 2 hours of the scheduled pickup time.
7. Collection and Delivery
Items must be ready for collection at the scheduled pickup time.
If no one is present at the delivery address, cleaned items will be left at a safe location nominated by the customer, or at the same location where the items were collected, unless otherwise instructed.
Laundry Corner is not responsible for loss or damage once items have been delivered in accordance with the customer's instructions.
8. Liability
Laundry Corner's liability is limited to re-cleaning the affected items or, where appropriate, a refund of the service charge relating to those items.
Laundry Corner is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential loss.
9. Dispute Resolution
If a dispute or complaint arises, customers should contact Laundry Corner in writing, by email, or via SMS, providing sufficient detail to assist with review.
Both parties agree to act in good faith and make reasonable efforts to resolve the matter through discussion.
10. Privacy
Personal information is collected and handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
11. Changes to Terms
Laundry Corner reserves the right to update these Terms & Conditions at any time. The latest version will be available on our website.
